Peek behind the scenes

Throughout my life as an artist, my journey led me back home to Pennsylvania after traveling the world. This return to my roots sparked a new artistic passion for working with resin, a medium that captivated me instantly. From crafting galaxies to oceans and geodes, I explored a range of creations. Meanwhile, a dear friend had often suggested I delve into crafting breast milk jewelry, a unique art form that resonated with my love for jewelry-making.

Years passed without me venturing into breast milk jewelry until I became a mother myself and embarked on my breastfeeding journey. Struggling with challenges in breastfeeding my child, I refused to give up and sought solutions to provide the nourishment she needed. After addressing tongue and lip ties and utilizing innovative lactation support methods, I finally found a way to successfully breastfeed my daughter without supplementation.

This personal experience of perseverance and motherhood inspired me to commemorate my journey by creating breast milk jewelry. Eventually, I extended this heartfelt art form to others, offering them a way to encapsulate their own experiences and emotions in wearable keepsakes. Amidst these pivotal moments, the unexpected loss of my father prompted me to transform his ashes into a ring, bringing me solace and a sense of connection.

These transformative experiences drive my artistic endeavors, shaping my work into meaningful mementos that honor life's beginnings and transitions. Each piece I create serves as a symbolic bookend, supporting individuals in celebrating new chapters and honoring cherished memories. Witnessing the emotions that arise when individuals hold and wear these pieces, knowing the comfort and healing they bring, fills my heart with gratitude and purpose.

In crafting these memorial pieces, I aim to offer solace and support to those navigating life's profound moments, creating tangible expressions of love, remembrance, and healing. Each creation is a tribute to the resilience and beauty found in life's intricate tapestry, connecting us to the past, present, and future through art and memory.
